Introduction As you already know, dangerous levels of radiation were reported yesterday to be leaking from the damaged Fukushima Japanese nuclear power plant. This is not only dangerous for the Japanese people, but something we need to be proactive about on the West Coast. Reports estimate that nuclear fallout can travel through the jet streams to the Western United States and Canada within a week to 10 days. It is impossible to estimate at this point how strong this dose will be to us, but some experts are predicting that it could be a significant amount of radiation.
Protect the Thyroid: Potassium iodide (KI) is the gold standard for protecting against radiation to the sensitive thyroid gland. A person who is contaminated with radioactive iodine may experience thyroid cancer or growths later in life. KI protects the thyroid from absorbing this radioactive iodine. The CDC recommends 130 mg KI for adults, 65 mg for children between 3 and 18 (unless they are adult size and then they should take the adult dose), 32 mg for infants and children between 1 month and 3 years old, and 16 mg for newborns to 1 month old, for acute radiation poisoning. These dosages may need to be lowered for us on the West Coast however, since the radiation will probably be reduced by the time it reaches us.
Unfortunately, when I called around to various Whole Foods as well as Apothecure (holistic pharmacy in Dallas) today they were all out of it, and said they couldn’t seem to get more from their suppliers.
Herbal Formula with Iodine: I have ordered from Eclectic Institute a supply of an herbal tincture called Red Clover/Burdock. This combination remedy based on the original detoxifying Hoxsey formula contains almost 140 mg of iodine per teaspoon.
Here’s the good news about this tincture: It’s an excellent time-tested blood purifier and enhances metabolic functioning through elimination, and it tests energetically better than potassium iodide alone which can cause stomach irritation and other side effects. So even if the radiation turns out to not be significant, this formula is a nice spring detoxifier that can be taken for a week to 10 days.
Caution with Pregnancy and Thyroid Disorders: Pregnant women cannot take this formula since it also contains Cascara sagrada, and herbal laxatives are contraindicated during pregnancy. (As well as for anyone with a strong diarrhea tendency.) Additionally, iodine aggravates Hashimoto’s disease. And since 90% of people with hypothyroidism actually suffer from this autoimmune thyroid dysfunction, these individuals should also avoid potassium iodide. Further, those with hyperthyroidism, or Grave’s disease, should also avoid KI because iodine aggravates both hyper-, as well as hypo-, disorders of the thyroid. Also, those with shellfish allergies may be allergic to the iodine itself, and shouldn’t take KI or this formula. Finally, since this is classically an anti-cancer and detoxifying herbal tincture used by adults, herbalists disagree on whether this tincture is appropriate for children.
Sulfur Crystals/MSM Provides Glutathione: There are other measures one can take to protect against radiation. Glutathione, the most powerful antioxidant in the body, is used by the thyroid to protect itself against free radicals. One of the best ways to receive utilizable and absorbable glutathione in the body is through the Crystal Sulfur/MSM supplement, which many of you are familiar with and have in stock at home. Vitamin C is also an important antioxidant to protect against radiation damage.
Medical Baths for Radiation Exposure: Additionally, the late great Hazel Parcells always recommended for any radiation exposure (e.g., after spinal or dental x-rays, mammograms, Cat scans, etc.), a therapeutic bath of non-iodized (Kosher) salt and one pound of baking soda in a tub of water – as hot as you can stand it – and to stay in this water until it cools. Then wait at least 4 hours before showering. (Again, not recommended for pregnant women or anyone so weak that this could potentially enervate them.) An alternative bath is magnesium salts (Epsom salts, Dead Sea salts, or magnesium chloride bath flakes) and baking soda, in the same amounts (e.g., 1 to 5 pounds each). Baking soda, sodium bicarbonate, binds with uranium and helps protect the kidneys from uranium and cesium radiation exposure. Oral administration of baking soda in water can also be employed to protect against uranium damage and help alkalinize acidic inflamed tissues.
Diet: Miso soup has been a time-tested radiation detoxifier. Additionally, kelp and other seaweeds provide small amounts of iodine as well as other nutrients that protect from nuclear radiation. Unfortunately, according to an adviser at Eclectic Institute, Fucus vesiculosus, (kelp or bladderwrack), has been significantly contaminated (along with much of our seafood, sadly) with arsenic and other heavy metals, so these are not recommended in supplement form at this time. Spirulina and chlorella vary in quality, so these should be tested out on a case-by-case situation, since many brands also contain heavy metals.
Plan: Iodine only stays in your body for 24 to 72 hours. So don’t begin taking KI or Red Clover/Burdock tincture now. Wait until we receive news that the radiation is imminent. Meterologists estimate that it will take about 10 days to reach the West Coast after significant radiation is released from Japan. So that gives us some time now to boost our immune systems.
(Very) General Suggestions Now: Continue taking your supplements diligently daily. Perhaps increase the dosage slightly. (EG, From 2 to 3 capsules a day of Pure Radiance C, or from ½ to 1 tsp. of Crystal Sulfur/MSM, 2 times a day, etc.)
Radiation Imminent: Begin Potassium iodide tablets or Red Clover/Burdock tincture (if not contraindicated for you). Red Clover/Burdock tincture – Take a dosage of 1 tsp a day or less (EG, ½ tsp if the radiation levels are considered relatively low. I wish I could be more specific; please watch the news and keep up with the internet news. I will send out another newsletter if I have more information at some point.) This dosage should be taken for a week to 10 days, or less if the radiation exposure is of a briefer duration.
Increase the dosages of your supplements (EG, Take 6 capsules a day of Pure Radiance C, and move from 1 tsp. to 1 TBSP. of Crystal Sulfur/MSM, 2 times a day, etc.)
Baking Soda – ½ to 1 tsp. in ½ glass (4 oz) of water, or more, daily. (Don’t take larger dosages – e.g., 3 tsps or more daily for over a 2-week period.)
Medical Baths for Radiation Exposure – 1 x a day
Optimal organic diet with the addition of daily miso soup, as well as seaweed.
Increase the dosages of your supplements (EG, Take 6 capsules a day of Pure Radiance C, and move from 1 tsp. to 1 TBSP. of Crystal Sulfur/MSM, 2 times a day, Quinton mineral vials to 2 vials a day, etc.)
Conclusion and Caution: Of course, no one really knows what’s going to happen at this point. But it’s better to be safe and proactive in case the radiation does reach us over here in significant amounts.

ADDENDUM Red Clover/Burdock with Potassium Iodide: The Red Clover/Burdock herbal remedy is here and was mailed out yesterday or put in the brass box for pick up. Since the radiation levels for us in the Bay Area are still being reported as "undectectable" or "minimal," I would suggest taking a minimal dose for now - such as 10 to 20 drops a day - for those who can take this remedy without any contraindications. If higher levels of radiation begin to be reported then go up to the recommended dosage as reported in my earlier newsletter.
Also don't forget to increase the dosage of your nutritional supplements such as vitamin C and sulfur, and to take baking soda orally as well as in baths mixed with magnesium (epsom salts).
Quenching the Fire Everyone is carrying around water bottles nowadays. People in previous centuries didn’t do this. Anybody remember his or her grandparents walking around with a water bottle? Certainly none of the traditional cultures that Dr. Weston A. Price observed in the 1930s carried water bottles – or gourds or whatever – around with them. So the first question we need to ask is why do we need to drink so often now, and even more to the point, why are we all so thirsty?
Excessive thirst, a dry mouth, and what they term in Chinese Medicine as "internal heat" in the body, are all signs of chronic inflammation. Yes, inflammation – that catch-all term that is now being used as the answer and underlying culprit for almost all chronic illness, including auto-immune diseases, heart attacks, and cancer. But inflammation is no diagnosis – nor does it reveal why all this chronic heat and thirst in the body is presently so pandemic in the population.
All we need to do however is look at our modern-day toxic stressors to find the answer. Refined sugar induces excessive thirstiness and is an early warning sign of diabetes. Other potent diuretics include alcohol and caffeine, the latter liberally ingested every morning by the great majority of the population. Toxic teeth full of dangerous mercury amalgam fillings and nickel/aluminum (so-called “porcelain”) crowns are also major contributors to inflammation in the body, as well as dessicating toxic chemicals in our personal care products. Less well known but perhaps even more of a fitting example are dental, tonsil, and sinus focal infections – relatively silent producers of pathogenic bacteria that generate local and systemic inflammation 24/7. Finally, for centuries homeopathy has recognized thirst – or the complete lack of it - as a significant constitutional issue, and this symptom is used to help prescribe the appropriate remedy. Perhaps most telling is that those of us who have addressed many of these causes of chronic inflammation and infection – replaced our mercury fillings, cleared our foci, are on our constitutional homeopathic remedy, and eat a nutrient-dense organic diet – have by and large noticed a great reduction in excessive thirst.
Therefore, one of the first things to do if you are inappropriately thirsty and continually depend on carrying a water bottle around with you all day is to take stock of your health. Those daily excessive doses of refined sugar and caffeine, or that intermittent nagging tooth discomfort, or that intermittent sinusitis caused by an undiagnosed dairy allergy, and even our conventional toxic soaps and shampoos are all contributors to desiccation, disease, and our eventual death. Instead of continuing to try to put out this chronically smoldering fire in our bodies with water, addressing and treating the true causes of inflammation is by far the most skillful means to attaining a more healthy and normal fluid balance in the body.
What is Appropriate Water Intake in a Healthy Person? If you haven’t read Fiber Menace yet do so now. In this invaluable book Dr. Konstantin Monastyrsky not only describes how fiber actually increases constipation, but also reveals the great fallacy in the “8 glasses of water a day” platitude. He explains that according to physiology texts an average adult weighing 155 lbs (70 kg) should receive about 1,750 ml or 59 ounces (~ 7 and 1/3 8 ounce glasses) of water per day, but that this water intake should actually come from 3 sources:
Drinking it – As well as receiving water through other fluids (tea, coffee, juice, etc.),
Eating it – Water is the single greatest component in solid foods, with 50 to 70% in meats and 75 to 96% in fruits and vegetables,
Metabolizing it– Water is formed as a by-product of many biochemical reactions, termed metabolic oxidation, and is actively reused in the body.
These latter 2 sources however - what Dr. Monastyrsky terms “hidden water” - have been incorrectly excluded from our total daily water intake for decades. This was a miscalculation made by the National Research Council (NRC) that publishes the Recommended Dietary Allowances, or RDA, of both dietary and water intake. Monastyrsky explains that the government failed to make it clear to the public that the “eight glasses per day” recommendation should include all water consumed daily – that is, from beverages, from food, and from metabolic oxidation in the body. In fact, the “bible” of medicine itself – The Merck Manual – has always recommended a daily intake of 700 to 800 ml of drinking water per day for the average size adult – that is, only about 3 to 3.5 glasses.
Of course, if we engage in strenuous athletics and/or live in a hot climate, more water intake is necessary and appropriate. More than this amount however can be taxing to the kidneys and bladder, and over time depleting to the system. Other “side effects” of excessive water intake include constipation (overhydration depletes potassium – the principle cause of stool dryness), digestive disorders (dilutes hydrochloric acid and enzymes), premature aging (a gaunt look, the Mick Jagger syndrome), and cardiovascular disease (excessive hydration depletes needed minerals that regulate electrical signals in our heart).
Stop Carrying Those #*@! Toxic Water Bottles! Everyone in holistic circles is well aware now of the danger from dioxin, bisphenol A (BPA), and other toxic chemicals in plastic water bottles. However, it’s important to point out that the newest genre of water bottles composed of toxic metals such as aluminum or stainless steel – the latter made up of nickel which is both carcinogenic and allergenic – are possibly even worse. Therefore, when it’s necessary to carry water, the best water bottle choices are glass, and in this category the crème de la crème is the Violiv water bottle. These violet bottles filter out all degrading light frequencies, allowing only healthy UV(a) and far infrared waves inside that help restructure the deformed microclusters in water that have been damaged from turbulent plumbing systems, light, and chemicals. However, if there is any remaining disturbance not cleared by this peripheral nerve treatment of the autonomic nerves (analogous to the “private” soldiers in the body’s army of defenses), these lingering areas can be treated through Auriculotherapy (ear therapy) from France during your next appointment. This treatment to the ear – and effectively the brain – is analogous to communicating with the army’s “general,” or central nervous system. Thus, it can most effectively fully remove any remaining scar engrams (embedded habitual memories in the brain’s cortex), if the home neural therapy treatment was not quite effective enough for a particular tenacious and disturbing scar.
Please be sure to treat any “psychogalvanic” areas – that is, scars with any associated emotional history such as an episiotomy scar (hours and hours of painful labor) or even the umbilicus (subconscious trauma from your own birth history) – with more awareness and intention as you massage. As the weeks go by you will notice that any sore areas or emotional associations with these scars will greatly reduce, or even completely disappear altogether.
Results can vary from no discernible change in symptoms, to various health benefits including less fatigue and pain in the body, reduced urinary frequency and urging, better digestion, and more restful sleep. Again, although the results from this scar interference field home massage technique are most often subtle, it is worth doing simply for enjoying the reduced irritability and overall sense of well-being that the majority of patients most typically report. Further, this protocol removes significant scar "obstacles to cure," which can block healing and detoxification and hinder one's treatment progress.
Since all the scars on our body are resonating together in our sheet of skin, it is important to remember and include all scars in your treatment. Sometimes a forgotten scar will start itching, inflame a bit, or just come to some of my patients’ consciousness after a week or 2 if it is excluded from this protocol! Therefore, try to remember all your scars including your first scar – the belly button or umbilicus, surgical scars (appendectomies, hysterectomies, hernia repair, stitches for cuts and tears, orthopedic surgeries – even the small arthroscopic incision scars, etc.), and non-surgical scars (cuts or tears without stitches, some acne or stretch-mark scars, some major bruises or head trauma areas, etc.).
Caution 1: Although this scar protocol is relatively mild and rarely causes any healing reactions, chronically ill patients should check with their holistic doctor or practitioner before attempting this home treatment.
Caution 2: Scar formation is an intrinsic and necessary response to healing cuts and injuries, and should not be interrupted. Therefore, this massage protocol is only for old, chronic scars – not recent acute scars. (Although dropping the Notatum 4X or Kombination 4X drops on and very gently spreading them over acute scars post-surgery or post-injury can be very helpful in promoting more efficient healing.)

Step 1: First massage in Notatum 4X (anti-inflammatory) or Kombination 4X (soft-tissue healing and blood circulation) drops into all your scars.
Step 2: Then rub in Pure Organic Shea Butter into all your scars. **
Do this 2-step massage treatment for 3 to 4 weeks, 1 to 2 times a day. This therapy is best done after a shower or bath (warm soft skin absorbs drops more readily), and/or before bed. Please “X” on the chart below where your scars are, and post on your bathroom wall to jog your memory.

First: Redose your constitutional homeopathic remedy. Take the stronger dose (1M or 200C) if you are feeling bad, and the gentler “booster” dose (30C or 6C) if you are only feeling a little “off.” Additionally, if this single dose helps but the symptoms were strong, or return after awhile, then do the emergency dose protocol (http://www.marinnaturopathicmedicine.com/emergency_dosing.html)
Second: Take large doses of the Organic Sulfur. That is, take 1 to 2 tablespoonfuls, from ~ 3 to 6 times per day, depending on how strongly you are experiencing the symptoms. These potent sulfur crystals can often stop a potential influenza virus from taking hold.
Third: Take the Plant Stem Cell (PSC) Black Elder. This Italian PSC herbal medicine is our major remedy for treating the flu. Take ~ 3 to 6 drops, from 3 times a day (feel slightly sick) to 6 or more times a day (feeling sick) until you feel better.
Fourth: Vitamin D in Cod/Skate Liver Oil. Vitamin D has been shown in recent research studies to prevent the onset of flu. However, taking massive doses of this vitamin/prohormone that is currently popular now does not make sense, nor do these synthetic vitamins energetically test well. The best source of vitamin D is from sunlight and supplementing with what our ancestors used to swear by - Fermented Cod Liver Oil or Fermented Skate Liver Oil – now available from Green Pasture. This food source contains naturally-occurring vitamins A and D in a balanced (and therefore non-toxic) ratio, the full range of Omega 3, 6, 7, and 9 fatty acids, and many known and unknown quinones including vitamins E and K and a variety of CoQ10 enzymes. Generally, adults should take ½ teaspoon or 2-3 capsules per day, and 1 to 2 teaspoons or 3 to 4 capsules (or more) per day during the winter months, with pregnancy, or under stress. Through modern laboratory testing, our ancestors’ wisdom is further confirmed by noting that blood levels of vitamin D rise to the normal range through the use of supplementing these natural and non-toxic fermented fish liver oils. (The fermented Skate Liver Oil is testing better in most patients than the Fermented Cod Liver Oil, perhaps because individuals need more chondroitin and squalene for cartilage support. Additionally, the skate liver has twice as much DHA to support brain functioning, and a substantial increase over the cod liver in amino acids.)
Fifth: Acute homeopathy. If you are not yet on your constitutional homeopathic remedy (according to the new Sankaran System), then an acute (short-term remedy to treat the specific flu symptoms) homeopathic can often be quite helpful – and even quite curative in some cases. In the following list are the top 4 homeopathic flu remedies and their keynote symptoms. These are available at health food stores in a 30C potency. Take 2 pellets 1 time and see if it helps. If it does you can then redose as needed.
1. Oscillococcinum – Take this remedy to prevent the flu. It is indicated for all the typical symptoms of the flu, but it works best if you take it preventively the moment you begin to feel any symptoms. Unfortunately, it has not been very effective once you have actually succumbed to the flu virus.
2. Gelsimium sempervirens – Keynote symptom: lethargy and fatigue, the arms and legs often feel weighted down. (Gelsimium saved thousands of lives during the great flu epidemic of 1918. In fact, 80% of the patients treated with allopathic medicine died during this epidemic, whereas 80% of patients treated with homeopathic remedies lived. (Naumann, E., Homeopathy for Epidemics)
3. Eupatorium perfoliatum – Keynote symptom is aching bone pain – like the bones are so tender and brittle that they could actually break.
Sixth: Lifestyle and Nutrition. Prevention is key. Support and strengthen your immune system by eating organically according to the wise traditions of our foremothers (www.westonaprice.org) - bone broths are ideal. Additionally make sure to drink plenty of pure water and to get enough rest and sound sleep. Make sure you are receiving adequate levels of vitamins A, D and omega 3 fatty acids by taking 2 to 4 caps of Fermented Skate Liver oil or Cod Liver Oil per day. Further, doubling or tripling up on your vitamin C (4 to 6 caps of Pure Radiance C or ½ teaspoon of the powder 2 to 3 times per day) is a well-known and well-researched immune system booster.

Although it may be hard to believe, there has never been a well-conducted scientific study (controlled, double blind) demonstrating the effectiveness of vaccines (Null, G., Germs, Biological Warfare, Vaccinations). For those of you who have my book, Radical Medicine, the charts on pp. 682-684 further attest to the fact that childhood diseases were already steeply declining (polio – 47-55%. Measles – 98%) before vaccines were even introduced. In fact, after the introduction of these vaccines, the incidence of childhood diseases actually increased in many US states. The same thing is currently happening. Before the CDC advocated vaccinating children under the age of 5, the number of children dying from the flu was very low and even on the decline. Then in 2003, just after children aged 5 and under started getting vaccinated, the death toll skyrocketed (www.mercola.com, flu vaccine exposed, p. 3) Additionally, most flu vaccines still contain the mercury preservative thimerosal, which has been linked to autism and autistic spectrum disorder (David Kirby’s excellent book, Evidence of Harm, describes the Watergate-like tactics the government and the pharmaceutical industries have done to obscure this link, and cheat families out of the much-needed financial compensation to care for their autistic children.) Other ingredients in the flu vaccine include aluminum – a neurotoxin, phenol – a corrosive “protoplasmic poison” (ATSDR), and ethylene glycol – the compound used as an antifreeze in cars.

GUIDELINES FOR FLYING WITH HOMEOPATHIC AND PLANT STEM CELL (PSC) REMEDIES, AND NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS
PLANE TRIPS: Although the ionizing radiation from a couple of plane trips usually doesn’t significantly damage your homeopathic and plant stem cell herbal remedies, it could slightly reduce their effectiveness. However, many plane trips can definitely reduce their potency and effectiveness (especially very long trips where you and your remedy also receive “cosmic radiation”).** In fact, excessive radiation exposure can cause such oxidative stress and alteration to a remedy that it can render it as actually harmful to the body. And although nutritional supplements are less vulnerable, they should also be protected.
BEST RULE TO GO BY: Always try to keep your original bottles (whether they contain liquid or pellets) completely clear and pristine at home in a cupboard. Then before your trip pour out a little liquid (e.g., ¼ a bottle) or a few pellets (e.g., 4 to 6) into a “travel” bottle. (Just ask us for extra empty bottles and labels. We have tiny bottles to put a few pellets in ((although it wouldn’t be terrible to put the pellets in a plastic baggie for a short trip, but, of course, glass is always best)), as well as 1 to 2 ounce bottles to put liquid remedies in.)
Things to do when you fly – 2 choices:
1. Ask the security person to hand check your remedies. This is a bit risky though because s/he may refuse and demand that they go through the x-ray machine. (By the way, it does no good anymore to hide a bottle on your body because a few years ago they strengthened the metal detector that you walk through so much that now it can also disturb your remedy.) If they turn you down you could quickly wrap the remedies up in aluminum foil (see below) and send them through the x-ray machine, but they may think this looks suspicious! (And the plexiglass scanner where they suddenly blow air at you if you are ((purposely or randomly)) selected is horrible! If you ever get chosen to go into this scanner, assume a strong defensive “kung fu-type” stance and when that blast of air comes at you exhale forcibly to neutralize this shocking and loud “blast” to your nervous system. This scanner will also definitely antidote your homeopathic remedy, so be sure and remember to redose it once – or even twice – afterwards.)
2. Wrap them up in your suitcase. Alternatively, you can wrap up your “travel” bottles in 3 to 4 layers of aluminum foil and pack them in your suitcase. (By the way, even if you check your suitcase the present policy is to x-ray all checked bags too.) A few layers of aluminum foil can greatly reduce the x-ray radiation to the remedy. (But not so much that it will show up on the x-ray screen, so don’t worry about that looking suspicious.)
After you have flown with your “travel” bottle about 5 to 6 times, pour out (liquid or pellets) this slightly disturbed remedy, wash the bottle (dishwasher sterilization would be good, or boiling it in hot water), and then pour in a fresh amount of liquid remedy from your clean and pristine home stash – or put some new pellets in there – making this your new “travel” bottle for another 5 to 6 trips.
Plant Stem Cell (PSC) Herbal Remedies from Belgium: Although herbal remedies aren’t as fragile as homeopathics, the energy of these very young organic and vibrant herbal remedies can also be disturbed over time after many plane trips.
1. Short Trips – 2 to 5 days. Although it is best to keep these remedies separate from each other until the day you take them, it is OK to mix them together for a short trip. That way you can keep the original bottles at home in a cupboard, and make one (1 to 2 ounce glass bottle) “travel” mixture. Simply drop the drops of each PSC remedy you need to take in the empty “travel” bottle, add some clean water, and during your trip take a dropperful 3 times a day. I know – this is not a perfect dosage amount but this general way of taking them is good for almost everyone – especially if you have been taking the PSC’s for a while. (If you are new to them however, or are very sensitive, then talk to me about figuring out a dilution and dosage that is more specific.) Again, wrap your PSC “travel” mixture up in 3 to 4 thicknesses of aluminum foil.
2. Longer Trips In this case you may just want to take the original bottles with you. Be sure though and wrap each one up in 3 to 4 layers of aluminum foil.
Nutritional Supplements: Finally, it is also a good idea to protect your nutritional supplements too. Count out only what you need on your trip and put these in a baggie and label them. Then wrap 3 to 4 layers of aluminum foil around these baggies.

Exposure during flying: As a rule, cosmic radiation levels rise with increasing altitude (up to about 20 km above ground). The actual radiation level is influenced by a number of factors, most importantly through the shielding provided by the earth's atmosphere. The overall effect for flight crew and travelers is an increased radiation exposure during flights as compared to staying on the ground.
Whenever you feel like you are getting sick (cold, flu, headache, etc.), experience a significant trauma (injury, emotional shock, etc.), or feel like you are going through a strong healing crisis, you should quickly begin to take a diluted dose of your constitutional homeopathic remedy from 3 to 6 or more times per day until you feel better. This advice is only for those who are sure they are on the correct remedy, as we have determined by repeated follow-ups according to the Sankaran System.
If you do not experience relief after the first 2 to 3 doses then contact our office. It could be that you are “bumping up against” a major focus that is emerging (or re-emerging), and that you need to come in for a specific treatment (typically neural therapy with the soft laser and isopathic drops or auriculotherapy). Below are the directions.
"EMERGENCY" DOSING OF YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL REMEDY: Do this procedure when you feel like you are getting sick (cold, flu, headache, healing crisis, etc.), are really stressed out, or you have experienced a significant shock (car accident, divorce, grief, etc.) Use the higher potency, e.g., 1M, for major emergencies and strong symptoms, and the lower dosage, e.g., 30C, for mild to moderate emergencies/symptoms.
Put 1 to 2 pellets (or 2 to 3 drops if you have a liquid dose – success the bottle first) of your remedy (1M or 30C - your choice) in a tall glass of clean filtered water and stir 10 times (wooden or plastic spoon best). Then take a ~ 1/2 tsp dosage. Put a napkin over the glass (so dust doesn't get in) and then take frequent doses from this glass during the day, and even the next few days (it should last for about 2 to 3 days - refrigerating it can help too). If you have a major issue up you can take a dose every 15 minutes for the first 1 to 2 hours, and then wait a while and see if you need more doses later in the day. If you just have a mild to moderate issue up, then simply taking a dose 4 to 6 times a day for 1 to 2 days is usually sufficient.
This is a gentle way of receiving the remedy and allows you to dose yourself more often without it feeling like "too much." After you have taken enough doses you usually won't be attracted to taking it anymore. At that point trust your intuition and stop and see if you feel better for the next few days (you may need to take 1 more dose a day though, just to keep clearing the emerging issue.) Always call/email/fax me however if you have questions, and especially if you are not feeling better with this protocol (can often mean a “focus” – Chapter IV – is up and you need to come in).
